Luis Suarez

Welcome to episode nine of LBM Audible, this time we flew to Gran Canaria (via Skype) to hook up with Luis Suarez “Lead Social Business Enabler, Corporate Rebel, Hippie 2.0 Living A Life Without Email at IBM.”

Luis has been blogging for ten years both internally and externally at IBM and shares how the art and science of writing a blog has evolved for him over that time. He talks about the need to have a passion for your subject to be a successful blogger and shares his recipe for a good blog post:

1. start with a punch line
2. develop the story
3. end with a double punch line

You will have to run over to his blog to see examples of what that looks like – links below.

Luis also challenges Richard Branson – yes him of the hot air balloon, record shop, airline, gyms, the list just goes on…. fame – as to whether he writes his own blog posts. Come on Richard, let us know in the comments if your blog is written by you personally, or a writer in your PR team.

Luis’s one big regret? He did not start blogging sooner!

Our big regret? We did not have longer!
