Live Blogging from the Future of Social Media

Congratulations to James Norris, the winner of this month’s London Bloggers Meetup competition. The prize was a free ticket to the Future of Social Media conference and James has agreed to live blog the event.

January Competition – The Future of Social Media

I’m getting pretty excited as we approach the next London Bloggers Meetup. Firstly because we’ve jumped over the 100 registrations mark for the first time ever. As it stands we have 117 bloggers confirmed for next week which is simply great.

The second reason why I’m excited is we have a last minute competition which will interest all of you bloggers working in social media. I have one FREE ticket to the Future of Social Media conference up for grabs, courtesy of our friends at United Business Media. What’s so great about that you might say, well, I’ll tell you:

- The tickets retail at over 500 quid, so that’s quite a saving

- The one day conference includes presentations from Andy Hobsbawn from Agency.com, Rohit Bhargava from Ogilvy, Mark Watts-Jones, Head of Innovation at Orange, Ask.com, Xing, Last.fm, Plaxo.com and more.

- There is a fantastic agenda covering topics such as leveraging online communities, determining the future of social media marketing and much more..

- To quote the organisers “This is an essential event for any marketing, PR, branding, online, digital and corporate communications professional looking to capitalise on the power of social media”.
